Slight respite from cold in Delhi-NCR, it may rain tomorrow

These days the weather is playing hide and seek with the capital Delhi. When it seems that the sky is clear and now there is going to be relief from the cold, only then the Meteorological Department with its forecast turns water on people’s hopes of relief.

This time the Meteorological Department has also mentioned water in its forecast. There is a possibility of rain in Delhi from 24 to 27 January. According to the Meteorological Department, these days it may rain in the morning and evening in Delhi and there is a possibility of sunshine during the day.

However, due to rain, the pollution level can come down. Due to the increase in the minimum temperature as compared to the rest of the previous days, people have got relief from cold in many states of North India including Delhi.

How is the weather in Delhi today?

Dense fog was seen in many areas in Delhi this morning. However, there is relief from the cold and the sky is expected to remain clear during the day. Today’s minimum temperature is estimated to be around 8 degree Celsius and maximum around 24 degree.

Talking about the minimum temperature in different areas of Delhi, it is 9 degrees in Safdarjung and Narela, 11 degrees in Palam, 8 degrees Celsius in Ayanagar and Ridge. Last week the temperature had dropped by 2 degrees, compared to that now the temperature has increased and people have got relief from the cold wave.

Schools have opened in Gurgaon from today, earlier it was to open from January 16, but in view of the winter, the administration had extended the school holidays. Schools have now opened in most of the states of North India.
