Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant was seriously injured in a car accident in Uttarakhand on Friday. Pant suffered injuries to his head, back and legs, but his condition is stable. He has been admitted to the hospital in Dehradun.
Pant’s BMW car crashed into a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Friday, resulting in multiple injuries. His car caught fire in a road accident.
According to media reports, Pant himself was driving the car when it hit the divider at Delhi Narsan border. He was immediately rushed to Saksham Hospital but will be taken to Max Hospital for further treatment.
Pant has been ruled out of the upcoming series against Sri Lanka as he has to join the NCA for a program ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in February. Pant played a big role in India’s victory in the two-Test series against Bangladesh.
