Junaid-Nasir murder

Regarding the Junaid & Nasir murder case, Rajasthan government minister Zahida Khan has said, “A compensation of Rs 15 lakh will be given to the victim’s family on behalf of the administration. Financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh. I will give from my side. We will get the children’s education up to 12th standard.

Apart from this, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that the name of Bajrang Dal has come out unnecessarily in the incident, in which case the Rajasthan government should apologise.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Central Joint General Secretary Dr. Surendra Jain has said that, “It is extremely unfortunate to find some charred male skeletons in a burnt vehicle in Loharu, Haryana. This fire has happened in an accident or has been set by someone, now Investigation is yet to be done on this. The car belongs to Rajasthan but to whom the skeleton belongs, this is also a matter of investigation. The culprits must be punished after fair investigation of the matter. This is our clear opinion.”

Dr. Surendra Jain, Central Joint General Secretary, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, “Two cow smugglers are missing from Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, on whom many cases of cow smuggling are already going on. A smuggler’s brother has expressed doubts about some of the famous names of Bajrang Dal. It seems that without preliminary investigation, the Rajasthan Police has assumed that the names taken by his brothers are responsible for the incident. Unfortunately, Bajrang Dal’s name is unnecessarily being taken in this scandal.”

He further said, “Rajasthan government’s role in such matters has always been influenced by vote bank politics, it has been proved earlier in many cases as well. The name of Bajrang Dal is unnecessarily being dragged as an agenda. which cannot be considered fair in any way.”

He has put forward some demands from VHP that:

  • There should be a CBI inquiry into this matter
  • Till the completion of the investigation, no person should be arrested merely on the ground that he has been named by the brother of the cow smuggler.
  • The culprits should be severely punished after the investigation is over.
  • The Rajasthan government, guilty of taking the name of Bajrang Dal unnecessarily, should apologize for this false allegation.

What did CM Ashok Gehlot and AIMIM chief Owaisi say?

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “The killing of two people, residents of Bharatpur’s Ghatmika, in Haryana is condemnable. Rajasthan and Haryana police are taking action in coordination. One accused has been detained and the search is on for the rest of the accused.” Rajasthan Police has been directed to take strict action.

Questioning the Rajasthan government, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted, “Two days ago, Junaid and Naseer were kidnapped from Ghatmika in Rajasthan. Today their charred bodies have been found. Ashok Gehlot’s police did not act on time.” And so far the culprits have not been arrested. The culprits are well-known cow vigilantes. Justice should be done to the families of Junaid, Naseer.”

He also said that, “Junaid and Nasir have been killed by an organized gang. The BJP government of Haryana is responsible for this incident because they give protection to this organized gang.”
