Twitter now became X, the bird flies away after Elon Musk's announcement.

The identity of the micro-blogging platform Twitter has now changed. Twitter is X now. On opening x.com in the browser of your mobile, PC or laptop, you will reach Twitter. Twitter’s logo has changed. An X is now visible in place of the Twitter bird. So will you not Tweet now, maybe Xweet?

Twitter owner Elon Musk said on Sunday that he was going to change the name of this platform. They have made plans to rebrand it and change its logo. Now the same has happened.

Musk made this announcement at a time when Twitter is facing new competition from Meta’s app, Threads, launched earlier this month.

Musk indicated that Twitter could soon be given a complete redesign and a new name, ‘X’. And the same thing happened. Musk had cleared his plan at the time of buying Twitter. Then he had said that buying Twitter would prove to be a big step for the beginning of X.

Twitter users’ questions answered

A Twitter account named WOLF asked him, ‘When Twitter becomes X, what will be its new name?’ Musk replied- ‘An X.’

At the same time, on behalf of the Twitter account named Whole Mars Catalog, he was asked, ‘Will Twitter be run from the http://x.com domain?’ So Musk’s answer was- ‘Of course’.

How does the new logo look?

Elon Musk likes the word X very much and has used the word X in the name of all his companies. Be it SpaceX or Xai.

Now Twitter will also be known as X and the new logo of Twitter is also looking like X. Musk has also shared a video of this.

What kind of service does Musk want to provide?

Musk bought Twitter last year for $44 billion and merged the company into an entity called X Corp. They want to bring ‘X’ The Everything App like China’s WeChat, which provides many services like social media, mobile payment under a single umbrella.

The name ‘X’ has been running in his mind for some time now. Welcoming new CEO Linda Yacarino, Musk tweeted in April, “Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into ‘X’ The Everything App.”

Company facing many challenges

Twitter has suffered repeated technical failures since Tesla tycoon Musk bought the platform last year and sacked most of its staff. With the continuous decline in advertising revenue, the social media company is making various efforts to reform the platform.

The company, which is still loss-making, is trying to come up with a business model that is an alternative to advertising. The company’s Twitter Blue premium membership (which costs $8 a month) has seen little growth.

This month, Twitter began giving some Twitter Blue customers a share of advertising revenue based on the engagement of their tweets. Rewarded accounts that engage heavily with Musk himself.
