A major road accident took place in Nashik, Maharashtra on Friday morning. A private luxury bus rammed into a truck on the Nashik-Shirdi highway, killing 10 people and injuring 40 others.
It is being told that there were 50 passengers in the bus that started from Ullasnagar in Mumbai. All the passengers were going to Shirdi to see Sai Baba. The collision was so strong that both the bus and the truck were badly damaged.
The accident took place around 7 a.m. near Pathare Shivar in Nashik’s Sinnar tehsil, about 180 km from Mumbai. The dead include 7 women, 2 children and a man. The injured were taken to Sinnar Rural Hospital and Yashwant Hospital. The condition of some of the injured is said to be serious, due to which there is a possibility of increasing the death toll.
