The Collective Transport System Meter (STC) informed that the timetable will change this coming Monday February 5, 2024please note that this day is marked in the calendar as the official holiday day for the commemoration of the Promulgación de la Constitución Mexicana This happened in the year 1917.

This holiday will be the first official event of the year for Mexicans, so that thousands of students and workers will enjoy a day of descanso extra. The Metro will have a special timetable on this day which corresponds to 07:00 to 24:00 hours on its 12 lines that correspond to the red of this transport.

The stations that follow are closed on Line 1

The so-called “Pink” Line of the Metro has been maintained and restored for the last few months, in the first instance if a remodeling at the end of the Pantitlán – Pino Suárezwhich was rejected in the month of November In the past year, subsequently the capital authorities issued the notice that the other remaining stations will also require a seal to give them the same maintenance as at the first time. The stations that are currently closed and do not have a window to open are:

  • Balderas
  • Cuauhtémoc
  • Insurgentes
  • Seville
  • Juanacatlán
  • Tacubaya
  • Observatory

What are the stations that are closed on Line 9?

Another of the lines of the STC which is found functioning but not 1000% of the time, is the “Café” line, which is found in the regeneration of the streets, for this reason the service which is now offered is from the Velodromo station – Tacubaya. A few days ago the authorities of the Metro issued a communication indicating that the electromechanical installations of the stations in repair of this line have been completed, therefore they have entered phase 2 of the work.
