Two ministers of the Delhi government, Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia, have resigned after going to jail. After this, the discussion of reshuffle in the Delhi cabinet is in full swing. Among the two people who are discussed the most, the names of AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi Marlen are coming to the fore.

According to sources, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sent the names of Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi Marlen to LG VK Saxena to make them cabinet ministers. After getting the approval of LG, both of them will be administered the oath of office.

Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain resigned as ministers.

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had the responsibility of many departments. Along with the Ministry of Education, Manish Sisodia was in charge of 18 of the 33 departments of the government. Sisodia is in CBI remand till March 4 in the Delhi Excise case. On the other hand, if we talk about Satyendar Jain, then Jain is in jail for many months.

Saurabh Bhardwaj is a three-time MLA from Delhi’s Greater Kailash Assembly. He was also the minister of 4 big departments in the Kejriwal government for 49 days. Bhardwaj held the portfolios of Transport, Food and Supplies, Environment and GAD.

At the same time, in 2019, AAP leader Atishi contested the Lok Sabha elections against BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, but could not win. After this, he contested from Kalkaji assembly in the 2020 assembly elections, in which he won.
