Dubai, United Arab Emirates | The registration for Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023 is now open for professionals from travel, tourism and hospitality sectors from around the world. The event will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 1st to 4th.
The 30th edition of ATM, with its focus on ‘Working Towards Net Zero‘, will provide a platform for industry leaders and policymakers from the Middle East and other regions to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable travel in the future.
“We are thrilled to announce the registration for the 30th edition of ATM,” said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Market. “This edition will focus on sustainability in the travel industry and how leaders from the region are working to reduce carbon emissions while also increasing profitability and improving customer experiences.”
“This year’s conference program will feature a wide range of sessions exploring innovation and best practices related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG),” Curtis added.
“We anticipate welcoming over 34,000 professionals from the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, including representatives from both the public and private sectors, from around the world to ATM 2023. With over 1,500 exhibitors and representatives from over 150 destinations, the event will be an ideal platform for building relationships and sharing knowledge that will lead to tangible and sustainable changes.”
The conference program for ATM 2023 is designed to address sustainability concerns in the travel and tourism industry, featuring insights and perspectives from leaders in various sectors including destinations, travel technology, aviation, cruise, investment, recruitment, hotels, and hospitality.
Several sessions will be dedicated to key source markets, such as India and Saudi Arabia. Also, the ATM Start-up competition will make a comeback, where seven travel start-ups will present their solutions for improving travel sustainability and recovery to expert judges and the audience.
As it officially embarks on its journey towards net zero, the conference program will examine the potential developments in sustainable travel trends, enabling attendees to discover growth opportunities within key industry sectors. It will also provide a forum for regional experts to discuss a sustainable future before COP28, which will occur in November 2023 at Expo City Dubai.
To celebrate its 30th annual event, ATM and its organizer, RX Global, will announce a dedicated sustainability pledge that includes 30 objectives to guide the event’s journey towards decarbonization. Along with sustainability guidelines for exhibitors and attendees, this pledge will also ensure that the 2023 edition of ATM is the most sustainable in its history.
The Best Stand Awards will introduce a new category for sustainability. Organizations that exhibit will be acknowledged for their consideration of the environmental impact of their stands and their efforts to decrease their carbon footprint.
The 2023 edition of ATM is organized in partnership with Dubai World Trade Centre and features support from several strategic partners, including Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism as the Destination Partner, Emirates as the Official Airline Partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as the Official Hotel Partner, and Al Rais Travel as the Official DMC Partner. ATM is also a key component of Arabian Travel Week, a 10-day festival of travel and tourism events.
