Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan has created history at the box office on its opening day. The film has collected Rs 55 crore on the first day, which is the highest first day collection of any Hindi film. Earlier this record was in the name of KGF Chapter 2 which collected 53.95 crores.
Pathaan has got success from single screen to multiplex and from small town to metro city.
Pathaan’s success has also brought relief for Shah Rukh Khan, who has been struggling with failure for some time now.
After 4 years, a film of King Khan has come on the big screen.
Pathaan’s success is historic because many controversies had arisen before the release of this film and many organizations had also asked to boycott the film but the audience has given love to this film and removed the air of the boycotters.
The collection of the film is expected to be historic on the second day as well and it can be assumed that the film will join the 100 crore club in 2 days itself. Keeping in view the passion of the audience towards the film, the number of screens and shows have also been increased.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.
