Today, on January 18, 2023, a strange sight was witnessed in the Delhi Assembly. On the third day of the Delhi Assembly session, the MLA from Rithala of the Aam Aadmi Party started waving wads of notes in the House. MLA Mohinder Goyal alleged that efforts are being made to buy him and he has received this money in the form of token money. Not only this, the MLA also accused the Deputy Governor and Chief Secretary of Delhi.
Taking out wads of notes from his bag and waving them in the midst of the proceedings of the House, Mohinder Singh said- “I have complained about the corruption case to the LG and the Chief Secretary, have written letters to them. I have gone to every door. I am doing this work by risking my life. Because he is such a domineering person that he can do anything to me. Can. I wrote a letter to the DCP that I need security. Dabangs are roaming around behind me. They threaten me.”
Mohinder Singh said that corruption is taking place in the ongoing nursing recruitment in hospitals. He said that the tender for recruitment in Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital had come out. In which corruption is happening on a large scale. He said that according to the government, 80 percent of the old employees should be hired during recruitment. Contractors eat money in this. The people who have given me this money, I want to get them caught red-handed.
MLA Mohindra Goyal told the House, “I need security. There is a threat to my life.” At the same time, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Ramnivas Goyal has sent the matter to the petition committee of the House.
Let us inform that earlier on Tuesday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had asked Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena not to interfere in the work of the elected government.
BJP’s answer
On note scandal, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “Another example of Kejriwal’s blatant dishonesty was presented today by AAP MLA Mahendra Goyal by waving wads of notes in the Delhi Assembly. Goyal sir, please answer that he took bribe for nursing recruitment in Ambedkar Hospital.” Why? If he wants to catch someone red-handed, then go to the police station, why this drama?”
