Jharkhand Budget 2023: Finance Minister of Jharkhand (Jharkhand) Oraon presented the budget for the financial year 2023-2024 on Friday (March 3). Oraon presented a budget of Rs 1 lakh 16 thousand 418 crore in the assembly. The Finance Minister told that this time budget has been increased by 15 percent as compared to last time. He has described the current budget as dedicated to the farmers.

  • Provision of Rs 50 crore for “Millets” scheme
  • Target to do 9 crore man days for MNREGA works
  • 1 thousand 964 crores for the Water Resources Department.
  • A knowledge center will be established in every panchayat.
  • TV installed in Panchayat Secretariat
  • Rs 1 thousand 968 crore for Panchayati Raj
  • 2 thousand 131 crore rupees for the general pension of the state
  • 800 new Anganwadi buildings will be built
  • Anganwadi workers will get smart phone
  • 1 thousand 828 panchayat draw out declared, target to make zero drop out in all panchayats of the state
  • Separate toilets will be made for girls in state schools
  • Bangla and Odisha language education will be given in selected schools of the state
  • residential schools will be developed
  • New polytechnic colleges will open in many districts
  • Plan for construction of new roads and bridges under PM Gramin Sadak Yojana
  • Patients will get the facility of air ambulance at low cost
  • New MSME policy will be implemented in the state
  • Air service will start for Dumka and Bokaro
  • Tourism policy will be made in the state
  • The old pension policy (OPS) will be applicable in the state.
  • 700 crore provision for pension fund
  • Under the Farmers Loan Waiver Scheme, each farmer family will get Rs.3500. 4.5 lakh farmers will get benefit.
  • Provision of Rs 12,446 crore for the Department of School Education and Literacy
  • Announcement of imparting skill training to unemployed youths under Chief Minister’s creation scheme.
  • If they do not get a job after training, unemployed youth will be given Rs 1,000 and women and differently-abled will be given Rs 1,500 every month for 6 months.
  • Effort policy will be made in Jharkhand
  • Provision of Rs 300 crore for Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana.
