Hero MotoCorp Q4 Results: Better than expected, profit up 37%

Hero MotoCorp, the 2-wheeler segment giant, has presented better results than expected in the March quarter. The company’s profit has increased by 37% to Rs 859 crore, which was Rs 627 crore in the same quarter last year. With the results, the company announced a dividend of Rs 35/share.

The company’s income has also seen an increase of 12% in this quarter. Income has increased from Rs 7,422 crore to Rs 8,307 crore. For the March quarter, Bloomberg’s analyst poll had estimated profit of Rs 731 crore and revenue of Rs 8,241 crore.

Hero MotoCorp’s stock closed at 2514.05 with a gain of 0.43% on BSE before the results on Thursday.
