GST Collection: GST collection increased by 12% in February

GST collection in February: There is good news for the government on the GST collection front. In the second month of the year 2023 i.e. February, the government has got a GST collection of Rs 1.49 lakh crore.

This data is 12% more than the figures of the same month of last year i.e. February. The total GST collection in February has increased by 12% to ₹ 1.49 lakh crore. Ever since the GST came into force, February 2023 has been the highest cess collection, which has been 11,931 crores.

GST collection has remained above Rs 1.4 lakh crore for 12 consecutive months. The GST collection in January was Rs 1,55,922 crore, while the GST collection in February 2022 was Rs 1,33,026 crore.
