According to the report of Bloomberg, this company was launched on Wednesday. According to the company’s website, ‘Musk and his team will share more information related to this in a live Twitter space chat on Friday.’

Musk will lead, many veterans in the team
According to the company’s statement, it will be headed by Elon Musk. At the same time, his colleagues include veterans in the field of AI (Artificial Intelligence), who have worked in companies like Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, DeepMind.
These team members have worked on projects like DeepMind’s Alphacode and OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 chatbots. The new company is separate from Musk’s X Corp, but will work closely with X (Twitter), Tesla and other companies.
Former researchers from the University of Toronto are also involved in this startup. The company will be advised by Dan Hendricks, who currently leads the San Francisco-based organization Center for AI Safety. It was Hendrix who wrote an open letter to global leaders in June, warning that AI is a threat to human existence like pandemic and nuclear war.
Musk has experience in AI sector
Musk has also been a part of a major AI organization before. He was involved in the creation of OpenAI, the company that created ChatGPT. Musk founded OpenAI in December 2015, along with Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, Ilya Sutskever, John Schulman, and Wojciech Zaremba. However, he left it in 2018 to avoid conflict of interest with Tesla.
