Six people including the doctor couple have died due to fire in the doctor’s house located in a clinic campus in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Dr. Vikas Hazra and Dr. Prema Hazra of Hazra Clinic have died in this accident. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi have expressed grief over the accident.
The incident is being told about the location of Hajra Clinic and Hospital on Telephone Exchange Road in Bank Mod police station area of Dhanbad. The clinic and the doctor’s office are located in the same campus. It is being told that the house is on fire. As soon as the information about the fire was received, the police and fire brigade team reached the spot and after a lot of difficulty, the fire could be controlled. The incident is being told on January 28 at 2 am.
It is being told that all the patients are safe in this accident and they have not been harmed.
CM Soren, former CM Marandi expressed grief
Expressing grief over the incident, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren wrote, “I am pained by the news of the death of 6 people, including the famous doctor couple Dr. Vikas and Dr. Prema Hazra, in the late night fire at Hazra Memorial Hospital in Dhanbad. Give peace to the souls and give strength to the bereaved family members to bear this difficult time of sorrow.
Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi also expressed his condolences on the incident by tweeting. Paying tribute, he wrote, “Received a heart-wrenching news of the death of 5 people, including eminent doctors Dr. Vikas Hazra, Dr. Prema Hazra, in a fierce arson in the upper residential floor of Hazra Memorial Hospital, Dhanbad late night. May God give courage to the family members and well-wishers.” Please, my deepest condolences. Humble tribute.”
