Few days are left for the country’s budget to come. Earlier, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in the ‘Halwa Ceremony’ organized in the Ministry of Finance before the Union Budget 2023-24. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, senior officials of the Ministry of Finance were present on the occasion. Traditionally, this ceremony is held before the finalization of the budget document. It has been a tradition to celebrate Halwa ceremony before the budget. The Finance Minister will present the budget for 2023-24 on February 1.

On January 26, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave the final shape to the budget documents by distributing halwa. Halwa Ceremony has been celebrated once again before preparing the budget after 2 years. During this, many Union Ministers including the Finance Minister were present.
