Apple to set up new factory on 300 acres in Karnataka

Apple phones will be manufactured in Karnataka, Apple factory will be set up on 300 acres here. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has given this information by tweeting.

Chief Minister Bommai and Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar told that 1 lakh new jobs will be created in the state due to the establishment of Apple’s factory.

Bommai said that apart from employment, many other opportunities will also be created, we will contribute in making the country a 5 trillion economy by 2025.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Apple’s biggest supplier is going to set up a facility in India, people related to the case have told that this factory will be set up near the airport in Bangalore. Apple’s handset will also be manufactured here.

There is no exact information about how much Foxconn is going to invest on this factory, but those who watch this news say that there will be an investment of around $ 700 million.

Taiwanese company Foxconn has the largest manufacturing business in China, but now it is looking for alternatives other than China, its eyes are on India. Foxconn has suffered a lot due to Kovid-19 sanctions and China’s trade war with America.
