After July 2018, the maximum number of attacks have happened in this January. According to reports, hundreds of people were killed and at least 254 people were injured in the terrorist attacks. However, the true figures are much higher than this.
According to statistics, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has witnessed the maximum number of attacks in the new year as well. Although the number of terrorist incidents has decreased in the month of January as compared to the previous months. There was also a terrorist attack in Khyber Tribal District in January.
