Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal on Friday launched 400 new ‘Aam Aadmi’ clinics, terming it as fulfilling “another guarantee of Kejriwal”. With these 400 new clinics, the total number of ‘Aam Aadmi’ clinics in Punjab has increased to 500.
On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Kejriwal said that he is happy that the AAP government has started 500 Mohalla clinics in Punjab in just 10 months. He said, I am happy to say that Bhagwant Mann has fulfilled another guarantee of Kejriwal.
He was referring to the promises made by the party to the people during the Punjab assembly elections in 2022. Kejriwal said that 500 mohalla clinics have been opened in Punjab and more such clinics will be opened in the coming times. Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh and AAP MP Raghav Chadha were also present on the occasion.
Kejriwal said all the party’s “guarantees” would be fulfilled and called upon the people of Punjab to be patient. He targeted the previous governments for ‘destroying’ the system. He said that the Hon’ble Government was taking action against corruption and would not spare anyone involved in corruption.
Praising the Mann government, the AAP chief said that 26,000 government jobs have been given in just 10 months, which is a “big deal”. He said that the jobs of the contractual employees are being confirmed. He said that on the education front, the Hon government is sending 36 government school principals to Singapore for training. He said that Punjab is also going to start home delivery of government services on the lines of Delhi.
